A full-day fishing trip with us in Alaska consists of up to 9 hours on the water.
We leave the dock at 6am ( can be modified to fit certain needs) and are back to the dock around 3pm. During the day, we generally start by fishing for salmon, then as time and weather allow we target bottom fish species.
We target rockfish, lingcod and halibut for bottom fish.
We target salmon by mooching or trolling depending on conditions and location where we are fishing.
All fishing gear, rain gear, and boots are provided. We also include snacks, water / sodas, and lunch.
If you have rain gear and boots you prefer, feel free to bring them. Also bring some warmer layers. The weather can range from sunny and 70 degrees to rainy and 55 degrees.
FISHING CHARTER PRICING
NOT PROVIDED is your fishing license which you can get at the Alaska Department of Fish and Game website.
Please have a printed copy with you. Also, you will need a King Salmon stamp for trips till the end of July and if King Salmon fishing in August is open you will need one then too.
Fish processing is done by a professional processors. They fillet, portion, vacuum seal, and flash freeze your fish the day it is caught. Then they meet you at the airport with your fish ready to be checked as luggage. Their cost is $3 per pound of weight you take home (filleted weight).
Boat Day rate price does not include fish processing or gratuity.
